This January transfer market is always a time of feverish speculation and possible major deals. A number of notable players find themselves connected to moves out of their present clubs. Here is a look at some of the key names who could be changing clubs in January.

Antoine Semenyo

This experienced Germany goalkeeper is now as third-choice at Barça following the manager Flick. After fallen out of favour and had an operation, a January departure seems highly probable. Villa were initially mentioned as a potential suitor, but that option now appears off. Instead, interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are reportedly showing curiosity in the keeper.

Kees Smit

This highly-touted Dutch teenage midfielder has drawn parallels to Kevin De Bruyne for his style of play. Following starring at the U19 Euros, Smit has become a regular in the AZ side. The teenager is heavily expected to complete a big-money transfer in January. Newcastle reportedly are frontrunners, but are facing strong competition from the Spanish champions for a signing valued at approximately twenty-two million pounds.
